Why PVC over wood?

With PVC, you never have to worry about cracking, peeling, rotting, insects or anything else that affects wood. You don’t have to worry about painting/staining PVC like you do wood in order to extend the life. Because there is no detoritation with PVC, these fences will add beauty as well as value to your home for years to come.

Can I purchase the materials and install myself?

Where can I find installation guides?
What is the general leadtime for my fence?

Materials for standard fences are usually available within 2 weeks of the finalized contract and receipt of the deposit. For custom orders and colors, the leadtime is normally 3- 5 weeks.

Can we put on the property line?

We recommend that the fence not be put exactly on the property line, but 6 – 12″ off of the line. It is best if you have the survey pins in place so that there will be no dispute with your current or future neighbors with regard to being on “your” property.

How do I go about getting approval for a fence?

Most HOA’s have guidelines regarding the types of fence materials that can be used and where they can and cannot be installed. This should be covered in your HOA Covenents. We will be glad to assist you in submitting a layout showing the HOA where the fence will be located and the type of materials to be used. Each county and city differ in requiring a permit for a fence. This can be checked out through the local Planning and Zoning Office. It is best to advise your neighbors that you are installing a fence giving them full details of the placement and mateials, as well as timing for the installation.

If there are no guidelines in the covenents, how will I choose?

We will be glad to work with you with regard to the layout, design and materials according to what your ultimate goal is regarding the fence. We should be able to recommend materials that will meet your budget and your expected results.

What about underground utilities?

It is your or your installer’s responsibility to notify Utilities Protection Center with a “locate request.” UPC has 72 hours to mark all of the underground utilities in your yard from the street to the meter/home. They will NOT mark sprinkler systems, underground wiring that you have installed or had installed for outdoor lighting, etc.
